What does Battlesim do? BattleSim.com LLC is a company that services gaming communities and gaming players with a primary focus on "war" or "battle" simulations. These simulations range from airsoft events to PC gaming.
Our primary business is hosting and producing high quality airsoft events. Our approach to the event market is a little different then most other companies. We believe that bigger is not better. We believe there are groups of people who want more then the opportunity to shoot thousands of rounds of airsoft bbs at hordes of loosely organized players. We believe that there is a group of people who want to learn how to become more effective team players. We believe that there is a leader inside each one of you who is merely waiting for the opportunity to come out. We are that opportunity.
Our airsoft events focus on realistic goals and game play designed to heighten the simulation experience. WWII and Vietnam based events are our primary period themed operations or schools. We host a variety of airsoft schools through out the year including a yearly Airsoft Boot Camp. Held during the summer it is targeted at 13-17 year olds who are looking at getting into a more serious airsoft environment. In the late Summer, we host a Vietnam era Airsoft RECONDO School focused on teaching tactics from the real RECONDO school open during the Vietnam War. We also host a campaign series entitled Total War. It links various operations together with an online map creating an entire theatre of operations in which the games are held.
We try to give purpose. There is nothing more exciting then your first Airsoft operation. We want every operation to be like your first one and if you haven't been to one, we want to give you the experience that you will use as a measuring stick against others. We strive to create context and realistic situations so you can enjoy yourself to the fullest!
We hold several large scale operations a year, but we also host smaller one day skirmish games. We encourage our school graduates to come out and help run the event's command and control. We have everything that you need to enjoy yourself. For our period events (WWII and Vietnam primarily) we have authentic and detailed impressions for participants who may not have them. We also can supplement what you do have in order to have the proper look. We also rent weapons and modern BDUs such as Woodland and Desert.
We encourage first time players as well as seasoned veterans. The airsoft community is one of it's best assets of airsoft. We strive to create a welcoming and friendly environment for everyone. We do not discriminate based on age, as long as you can act like an adult we welcome you with open arms. And if you are old as dirt, you'll have to be young at heart!
But what do people who come think?
"To Battlesim and Hellmutt, REMF, Ranger Warren, Matt Deeds, 1stSGT and the rest of the Instruction Cadre for the excellent level of professionalism, conduct and for all the hard work, time, money, effort and organization of the elements of theatrics, atmosphere , special effects and environment that truly made this hands down the BEST Mil-sim, Airsoft or Re-Enactment event I have ever attended... " Seth R. The Regiment (SoCal)
"What a fantastic time! Loved the school setting and the instructors were outstanding! I'm looking forward to next year!" "Mercy" P. - Black Company (Louisiana)
"Let me tell you I had a blast. Out of the 36 hours of being there I got less than five hours of sleep. Being thrown in the platoon leader role was great. I really didn’t even want to volunteer for the platoon guide role the first morning, but all of the responsibility and chaos made the whole weekend fantastic. Thanks to Josh and REMF for all of the pointers and assistance through out the operation. Doing the prisoner captures and sitting in the bunker all night was the best part,. . . Everyone in the platoon did a great job at doing their part, it was really great to see a bunch of airsofters work like that. Fantastic event Battlesim," Dan S. - NWATT (Yakima)
"The main thing that I liked most about last weekend was that in some moments I forgot that I was at Vaughn field and really got sucked into the WWII era, for example when we were rolling the tank gun towards Large bunker, the MG was blazing and raining rounds on us but we pushed it through and blew it up. At that moment we really felt like soldiers 60 years ago... Defiantly one of the most memorable weekends I've had. Also having actual military people like Josh really helped because we knew they knew what they were talking about. Remf did a great job as well, fighting side by side with us younger guys he led the way and showed us how its done! Thanks to everyone for making this event a great first for me, I'm defiantly hooked on Milsim. " Sergey K. (Olympia)
